Here we go again!

It’s that time! Time to register for swim lessons with Shamrock Swim and Miss Pam. ;)

This year I will be teaching at a pool in Greenfield Acres. Thanks a million goes out to Michelle for her generosity! She is at the far south end of the neighborhood, her house backs up to Riggs Rd.

The address is 2677 E. Haymore Ct.

Here is the session schedule for this year, 2011.

Session 1 --> May 2-13
Session 2 --> May 16-27
Session 3 --> May 30-June 10
Session 4 --> June 13-24

My fees are $60 per student per 2-week session. The sessions are 2 weeks, 10 classes, M-F for a 30 minute class with 4 students per class. I need to know which session or sessions you would like, the names/genders/ages of your kids and contact info (adult name, phone and email).

I plan to have classes from 10am till 2pm. I will divide the classes by age/ability. If there is interest I will hold Mommy and Me classes for those that have infants up to age 18 months.

All children that are not potty trained MUST wear the specially made swim diapers. There will be a toilet available for those emergency needs but try to have the kids go before class. I will do my BEST to get your children in consecutive classes so you don’t have to come twice.

Please arrive early so your kids can jump in right at the beginning of class. Parents are free to leave during the lesson but must be back in time to get their child out of the pool. There will be no childcare unless you have made prior arrangements with another parent.

All non-swimming children need to be supervised by an adult at all times. It is not fair to assume that other parents will be watching them unless you have made prior arrangements. There is lots to do in this backyard for non-swimming children waiting. Play structure, basketball court, grass...it's awesome!

Please be respectful of the home and yard we have so kindly been offered to use. Children should be watched at all times for their safety. There will be trash cans outside for your use and a real bathroom for those emergencies.

If you have any further questions, send me e-mail! And keep scrolling down to see some great pictures from previous year's lessons!!

To whom it may concern,

I have had the good fortune of knowing Pam Jorgensen for more than twenty years. My first association with Pam began with the San Dimas High School swim team where I was her varsity swim coach. As a high school swimmer Pam was a highly motivated swimmer, a true team leader, and in my opinion and the opinion of her teammates, she epitomized all the best qualities of a well rounded high school competitive swimmer.

For four summers Pam Jorgensen also worked for me when I was the Director of the City of San Dimas Swim and Racquet Club as a lifeguard and a swim instructor. As a pool lifeguard Pam had an impeccable safety and attendance record. As a swim instructor Pam was a meticulous swim instructor achieving superior results with her pupils.

After high school Pam worked for my Company, Cal-Swim Aquatic Services, Inc., at our Swim School in Diamond Bar as a lifeguard and swim instructor for several summer seasons. She was not only well respected by her colleagues but she was also affectionately admired by her students and their parents as well. In my 30 plus years of coaching swimming, running aquatic programs, and certifying lifeguards and swim instructors, Pam Jorgensen stands out as one the premier teachers I have had the pleasure of working with. For all these reasons without hesitation I would definitely recommend Pam Jorgensen as a swim instructor. Please note that I may be reached for comment at my office at (909) 627-6636.

Sincerely,

Dave Maynard/President
