2009 Sessions
Great News!
I've secured the use of a pool again this year. Too bad I couldn't finagle my own this year but I have very good friends! We're not right in Shamrock Estates this year but not far at all, so I'm going to stick with Shamrock Swim! Special thanks to my good friend Sherrie for letting us use her awesome pool. She lives in Greenfield Acres right inside the entrance (see map below).

Here is the session schedule for this year, 2009.
Session 1 --> May 4-15
Session 2 --> May 18-29
Session 3 --> June 1-12
Session 4 --> June 15-26
My fees are $60 per student per 2-week session. The sessions are 2 weeks, 10 classes, M-F for a 30 minute class with 4 students per class. I need to know which session or sessions you would like, the names/genders/ages of your kids and contact info (adult name, phone and email).
During school I plan to have classes from 10am till 2pm then start again at 4pm depending on the need for after school classes. I will divide the classes by age/ability. If there is interest I will hold Mommy and Me classes for those that have infants up to age 2.
All children that are not potty trained MUST wear the specially made swim diapers. There will be a bathroom available for those emergency needs but try to have the kids go before class. I will do my BEST to get your children in consecutive classes so you don’t have to come twice.
Please arrive early so your kids can jump in right at the beginning of class. Parents are free to leave during the lesson but must be back in time to get their child out of the pool. There will be no childcare unless you have made prior arrangements with another parent.
All non-swimming children need to be supervised by an adult at all times as there is NO GATE around this pool. It is not fair to assume that other parents will be watching them unless you have made prior arrangements.
Please be respectful of the home and yard we have so kindly been offered to use. There will be trash cans outside for your use. There is a large yard to run around in but children should be watched at all times.

I have had the good fortune of knowing Pam Jorgensen for more than twenty years. My first association with Pam began with the San Dimas High School swim team where I was her varsity swim coach. As a high school swimmer Pam was a highly motivated swimmer, a true team leader, and in my opinion and the opinion of her teammates, she epitomized all the best qualities of a well rounded high school competitive swimmer.
For four summers Pam Jorgensen also worked for me when I was the Director of the City of San Dimas Swim and Racquet Club as a lifeguard and a swim instructor. As a pool lifeguard Pam had an impeccable safety and attendance record. As a swim instructor Pam was a meticulous swim instructor achieving superior results with her pupils.
After high school Pam worked for my Company, Cal-Swim Aquatic Services, Inc., at our Swim School in Diamond Bar as a lifeguard and swim instructor for several summer seasons. She was not only well respected by her colleagues but she was also affectionately admired by her students and their parents as well. In my 30 plus years of coaching swimming, running aquatic programs, and certifying lifeguards and swim instructors, Pam Jorgensen stands out as one the premier teachers I have had the pleasure of working with.
